DOUGAN Joseph

Director

After a thriving career in the music industry as a producer and DJ, DOUGAN was appointed on October 16, 2023. His natural talent for organizing parties established him as the prime choice for event planning, leading to rapid business growth. Today, DOUGAN continues to be deeply involved with his company, treating all his local clients like A-listers. He regularly introduces innovative and distinctive concepts for events, keeping his clients’ satisfaction at the forefront.

When DOUGAN isn’t planning events, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful children. He’s also an avid cyclist, relishing the opportunity to ride through the peaceful hills of Slovakia or the bustling streets of London in between meetings.

FARQUHARSON Orla

Director

FARQUHARSON was appoitned on 16 October 2023, she has been an integral part of the SD Event Management, bringing with her more than two decades of experience in the events industry. She made an immediate impact on the company, organising and executing some of our most prestigious events. Although FARQUHARSON relocated back to the West Country to start a family, her passion for event planning never wavered. Now, with two adorable children by her side.

FARQUHARSON loves to soak up the great outdoors, whether that’s gardening or skydiving! And as for her love of Christmas? We challenge you to find someone who loves Christmas time more than FARQUHARSON!

SIMMS, Alan

Director

SIMMS born in September 1968, has been a director since at least August 2013, with his residence and professional activities centered in the United Kingdom.He is a prominent figure in the music industry, particularly known for his contributions to the electronic and dance music scenes.

SIMMS has directed several notable music venues and festivals in Ireland. He is one founders of the company , which stands as Ireland's longest-running and one of the most established dance music brands.Over the years, the company has showcased a plethora of renowned electronic music artists, including names like Aphex Twin, Richie Hawtin, Skrillex, Chase & Status, and Deep Dish, effectively creating a "Who's Who" of Electronic Music.

SD Event Management History

As these things often do, SD Event Management came about by chance. About 11 years ago, One party became two; two parties became five. With consistently glowing receptions, these parties began to increase in size, scope, and complexity, until it became clear that throwing parties was was a norm.

As SD Event Management's ambitions grew, so too did its staff ' bringing in expertise from all corners of the events world. From corporate parties and conferences to private celebrations, weddings, and beyond. We've picked up a whole universe of knowledge, experience, expertise, and a coveted list of contacts over the years.
